Pet Food Experts sells wholesale ONLY. In order to be eligible to buy from us, you must meet the following requirements:
- – You must have a place of business other than your home
- – You must be in the business of reselling wholesale pet related products
- – You must have a state issued tax resale certificate
All orders must be received by your assigned order deadline in order to be processed for the next business day. Please confirm your specific order deadline with your inside sales rep.
Our current minimum order is $500 and our current Delivery Charge is $16.
Pet Food Experts can only accept returns or issue credits for the following reasons and only if called in within 24 hours:
- – Wrong item
- – Product damaged on PFX truck
- – Shortages
PFX does not accept returns for outdated product on either food or supplies. It is the responsibility of each customer to rotate stock and manage inventory in order to ensure the freshest product is delivered to you. We label each pallet when it arrives in our warehouse, and engage in a diligent rotation process. Also note that most dry foods have up to 18 months of shelf life and cans/pouches up to 24 months of shelf life. With proper management, outdated product should not be an issue for your store.
Please call the manufacturer’s sales rep for the following reasons:
- – Consumer returns
- – Poorly turning products
- – Outdated products
In order for our driver to pick up your return, you must call your inside sales representative with your return request IN ADVANCE of your delivery day. Your sales representative will determine if PFX policy allows for the return and, if so, will complete a Return Goods Authorization form which the driver will present on your next delivery day. No returns will be accepted without an RGA form. The driver will inspect your returned product to ensure that its condition, quantity and description match the RGA. The driver reserves the right to refuse any returns that do not match the RGA. Your account will be credited once the returned product has been returned and processed in our warehouse.
High value items, such as Frozen Diets, Frontline and Advantix, must be checked at time of delivery with the driver and signed for separately on the designated area of the invoice. NO credits will be issued after the delivery check in.
You will be charged a 15% restocking fee for items returned due to an ordering error on your part.
